A Negative Attitude Can Result from a Lack of Gratitude

 

Whether it’s a relationship in trouble, financial pressure, lack of health, or problems in your work, negative situations can arise because of a lack of gratitude over a long period of time. Taking things for granted can be a major cause of negativity.

 

As difficult as it may be, you have to look for things to be grateful for in a negative situation. No matter how bad things are, you can always find something to be grateful for.

 

GRATITUDE EXERCISE

 

Today’s exercise is to take one negative situation in your life and look for TEN things to be grateful for.

 

It can be challenging, but you can do it!

 

You can tell your gratitude is working by the way you feel. You’ll begin to feel a lot better about the experience after finding the positive in the situation. After you’ve made your list of ten things to be grateful for, finish out the practice by saying:

 

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the perfect resolution.

 

Focus on feeling truly grateful in your heart for the perfect resolution before it’s happened – and it will come to you that much sooner!
