A Gentle Reminder to be Grateful

 

When you begin to practice gratitude, concentrating on it daily will help it to become a habit. One technique is to use an object as a reminder to be grateful. The Gratitude Rock works great for this and has become a proven success for people all over the world.

 

First, find a rock or stone. Choose a small size that fits into the palm of your hand, ideally one that is smooth and feels good to hold. Put the rock by your bedside in a place where it’s easy to see.

 

Gratitude Exercise

 

Before you go to sleep each night, hold your rock and think carefully back through the day about all the good things that happened.

 

Find the BEST THING that happened during the day, say

 

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for it.

 

Place the rock back on the nightstand and you are done! Follow this practice every night for the next 26 days. Looking for the BEST thing that happened each day puts you in the mindset of sorting through MANY good things ensuring that you go to sleep and wake up in gratitude each day. Now it’s your turn!
