Use Gratitude to Improve Any Relationship
If you have a difficult or broken relationship, are suffering from a broken heart, or holding any resentment or blame towards another person, you can change it through gratitude. When we are faced with a difficult relationship in almost all cases we are not the least bit grateful for the other person.
Instead, we are busy blaming them. But…the more you blame the other person the worse the relationship gets. Instead we need to do the opposite
Gratitude Exercise
Choose one difficult or problematic relationship you want to improve. Sit down and make a list of 10 things you are grateful for about that person. You may need to think back before the relationship went sour to find things you liked about it.
The goal here is to feel better about that person. Now it’s your turn!
